Family vacation, part 1

First stop, Idaho Potato Museum. Some of the mashers in their collection were as big as my arm. Perhaps used by a farmer's wife cooking for twenty hungry helpers?

The Blackfoot Idaho Tabernacle, now a funeral home. Wish I could have been inside when it was still in use. Beautiful.

Feeding deer at a petting zoo.

Red Chief's favorite animal at the petting zoo was the pig. He's a bit bigger now than the first time he pet a pig—but I think he enjoyed it just as much.

  1. Looks like you had fun. I want to take a big road trip soon, mainly to see people, but looks like I may have to wait till summer because of Anna's school.
