I just couldn't pass up this smock at the thrift store, even though the pocket was ripped out. It's so colorful and bright and cheerful, and it reminds me of what the lunch ladies used to wear in my school when I was growing up.
Here Tiger Lily displays it after ironing and repair. ("I'm going to hold it up so I look like an apron, Mom!")
The kids always balk at having to wear an apron over their church clothes on Sunday. Perhaps this will make them smile about it.
