Dinner from the garden, mostly






Beets, beet greens, carrots, chives, and thyme from the garden, and a daikon radish from the farmer's market. Served over baked potatoes and topped with poached eggs.

  1. That's a popular Greek dish from the island my grandmother was from. They would pick all sorts of edible wild greens and cook them with an egg or two to hold them in place.
