Ginger newts


From this recipe. I used canola oil instead of lard. Thanks to my sister for the lizard-shaped cutter, which I have been wanting for a very long time.

  3. I'm trying to make lizard-shaped molasses-ginger cookies. I put the dough in the freezer overnight, but it still won't come nice and lizard-shaped out of the cutter. Any advice?

    1. Perhaps try a different recipe? Or add flour to the one you're using. This is a hard shape to work with because it's so long and thin.
