Red Chief's disorderly room

Time to help Red Chief clean up his room. If only it were as clean as Gracie's 'disorderly room' above. Keeping his room clean never used to be a problem, but it's gotten amazingly messy lately as he carts more and more stuff up there. Every week I remove an entire laundry basket full of stuff that doesn't belong there. Ugh. Any tips?

  1. I have 3 kids, (8,5&20months)and I struggle with this. My suggestion is to get rid of stuff. I don't know about yours, but my kids have WAY too much stuff. They don't even know what they have or miss things when they go "missing" because they have so much other 'stuff' to occupy their time. They stuff things under the bed, on the floor of the closet, under the couch. I have given them drawers and shelves in their room to keep things organized and still it spills out all over their floor and into the hall. Too much stuff! But that's just me. Good luck!

  2. I have a friend that refers to the act of removing or storing some of the clutter as "disappearing" it. Some goes away permanently, some just for awhile. She got tired of the number of plastic Easter Eggs rolling around and starting "disappearing" them when no one was looking.
