Pigs and potties

After many messes and pleas to have his diapers back, Red Chief finally went all day yesterday without any accidents, including overnight. Today has been just as good. I don't expect everything to be perfect from now on, but I think the worst is over.

Now we are working toward fulfilling Red Chief's urgent desire to see a pig. A real pig. He wants to hold one, but I'm hoping he'll change his mind once he sees how big they are.

  1. Congrats to Red Chief on his very grown up accomplishment! And to you too Mrs. M. We had pigs, not long ago. (I guess we still have them, just in the freezer....) Have you tried KSL?, or Craig List? Maybe someone has them and you could go have a visit. Or how about a petting zoo? Good luck finding one. Piglets are so cute and fun to hold really....:-D Red Chief is a boy after my own heart. I love to watch pigs! ♥

  2. Yay for Red Chief! I think holding pigs is a great idea. There does exist a type of pig that people keep as pets. They're the size of a small dog. But for the life of me, I can't remember what they're called...

  3. Anytime you and Red Chief are in Northern Ireland you come right on over to our place and we will take him to our farm - he can meet real pigs, calves, hens, ducks and cuddle as many as he likes! Fiona

  5. yay for Red Chief!! That's awesome! He's a bit over three now right? I'm dreading the big day for my boys. They just turned two, but I don't know when I should start. I think it's still too soon, but maybe I'm just being lazy.
