Homemaking vs. housekeeping

"Homemaking, as I view it, falls into two major divisions: homemaking and housekeeping. Homemaking takes into account the spiritual values: love, peace, tranquility, harmony among family members, security . . . Housekeeping involves the work of keeping a house clean, orderly, and well managed."

  2. Indeed. I definitely favor one over the other!

  3. I wish that they both didn't seem to interfer with each other. Sometimes I do tend to focus more on the housekeeping because I can see the results right away....but I know the homemaking is way much more important.

  4. Hi. With you having Hashimotos, I hope you have read this page: www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/hashimotos In fact, read the entire website, which is a patient-to-patient site based on far better thyroid treatment than doctors have been doing and compiled by a thyroid patient activist. :) She has also written a book by the same name which I love.

  5. Hi again. I forgot to add: if you are a cookie baker, I highly recommend what is on the grocery shelves right now. It's a quality cookie magazine by Taste of Home. Has an aqua cover with a star cookie on it. GREAT recipes and all with photos. Each recipe is donated by someone who bakes the cookie themselves, and with short explanations by the person. I am loving it!
