Bowling shoes

We took Red Chief bowling for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was very popular. Red Chief loved it, and it was so funny watching him staggering around with the heavy ball and dropping it. The hardest part for him was letting Daddy have a turn.

My favorite part was the shoes. They actually had shoes in his size, the smallest they carried, and I smiled at the contrast between Red Chief's tiny size eights and Mr. Mordecai's huge size thirteens.

  1. How cute! I love the photo. I had no idea that they made bowling shoes that small.

  3. We love to bowl also-my eldest wears a size thirteen too! I had to send him shoes for the summer-those missionaries do so much walking :)

  4. I am surprised that they had shoes in his size. Last year I took Bug Bowling and they didn't have any shoes his size, and he dropped the ball on his right big toe. It was ugly, and scary, and we rushed to the ER for x-rays. They thought it was broken, but a few days later we saw a foot doctor and she said it was not broken. His toe nail continues to grow weird.
